Vyond, the leader in intelligent video creation software for enterprise companies, today announced the opening of a new Chicago office in the Fulton Market tech hub.

Located in Fulton Market, the city’s dynamic tech hub, the new location is part of the company’s ongoing geographic and market expansion, as global companies continue to embrace Vyond’s intelligent, AI-driven video creation software for business-critical eLearning, HR, internal communications, sales, and marketing applications.

The office is located at 159 North Sangamon Street and will open on December 5, 2022. It will be overseen by tech industry veteran and recently-appointed Chief Marketing Officer Van Diamandakis, who has led marketing and sales teams at WANdisco, Persado, Sage, Joyent, and Riverbed Technology, among others. Vyond’s Midwest expansion will initially include the hiring of more than 20 sales, marketing, and customer success professionals in Chicago where the company has more than 50 local customers, including 10 top healthcare and pharmaceutical companies and five higher education organizations.

“Enterprise companies everywhere – including so many great firms in the Midwest – are obtaining tangible business benefits from the use of smart video creation software from Vyond,” said Diamandakis. “Given my local roots and love for the Chicagoland area, I’m doubly excited to help Vyond grow in the region. I’m looking forward to helping our customers achieve their training, educational, and communications goals even more quickly by providing them locally-based support and expertise from our Fulton Square location.”

According to Chicago Ventures Partner Kevin Willer, who is a personal investor in Vyond and a member of the board, the company’s entry into the Chicagoland and Midwest market for enterprise video is coming at the right place and at the right time.

“Vyond’s approach to animated video creation – which is designed to engage, educate, and achieve high retention – is a perfect fit for so many businesses that need to deliver important content that sticks,” Willer said. “Our region is ripe for growth in this type of technology, and Vyond’s new local presence will mean that they can connect with a greater number of customers in the region, and grow existing relationships. We’re excited about the potential of their new Chicago office, and about collaborating even more closely with Vyond’s leadership team.”

Vyond helps companies create engaging and professional-looking videos for training, eLearning, human resources, internal communications, sales and marketing applications, without the long lead time or expense of traditional video production techniques. The company’s Fall 2022 release of Vyond Studio, announced last month, integrates several ground-breaking production upgrades, including AI-powered tools that automatically convert photos of people into animated characters and an instant translation feature that makes it possible to efficiently translate on-screen text, voiceover narration, and character dialogue into over 70 languages.
